Hello!
I am Jeremy Solomon, and storytelling has always held a special place in my heart. As a theatre facilitator during the day, I find myself embracing characters and emotions beyond my work hours. In my leisure time, you'll often find me lost in a good book, penning stories, or strumming the guitar. Now, I run TrouperSphere, a theatre company dedicated to training humans in the art of theatre.
In essence, I'd say theatre is my profession, and teaching is my hobby.
My Story
I completed my BA in Political Science, Journalism, and English Literature at Kristu Jayanti College, where Drama was a minor subject. During my college days, I actively participated in various street plays, mimes, and skits, and starred in two Shakespearean productions, Macbeth and Othello, under the esteemed directorship of Ranji David, Yours Truly Theatre.
As a member of RATS (Renegade Arts and Theatre Society), I contributed to Urban Daze: Season 2, a delightful collection of comedy shorts performed at various venues around Bangalore.
After graduating, I founded JJ Theatric, focusing on Drama in Education, and conducted diverse classes and workshops. I shared my passion for drama with students at renowned schools such as Oakridge International School, Indus International School, and Oasis International School, among others.
My love for writing led me to perform poetry and stories on various platforms, including Open Sky Slam, The Story Platter, Coffee Goes Bananas, By the River, Platform for Artists, and Tuesdays with the Bard. Moreover, I continue to act with various theatre groups across Bangalore, embracing diverse roles on stage. Additionally, I've had the honour of serving as a judge for numerous theatre competitions and festivals in schools and colleges throughout Bangalore.
Beyond the stage, I am a self-published author of "The Hour of the Midnight Lyric: A Collection of Poems and Short Stories." Additionally, I am involved in a gospel band named Faith and Favour.
